Job summary

Everpure is seeking a security-cleared Senior Systems Engineer to join its Public Sector, Defence and Defence Industrial Base team as a trusted technical pre-sales partner across the UK and Ireland. You will guide government and defence customers through storage and data platform solutions, with travel to on-site locations as required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pre-sales, systems engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role in tech.
• Strong storage and infrastructure fundamentals; storage experience preferred.
• Familiarity with government/defence procurement frameworks and accreditation processes.
• Ability to lead consultative technical discovery with senior customers and partners.
• Proven ability to translate requirements into architectures, proposals, sizing, quotes, and concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to pursue public sector and defence opportunities and move deals forward.
• Act as senior technical lead within a SE pool, mentoring others.
• Translate customer requirements into technical architectures, proposals, sizing, quotes and concepts.
• Run technical presentations, demos, workshops, and follow-up sessions remotely or on-site in the UK and Ireland.
• Enable channel partner SEs through workshops and joint engagements.
• Validate technical fit for opportunities focusing on storage architecture and security requirements.
• Collaborate across teams to solve customer challenges and ensure a strong buying experience.
• Participate in internal training and knowledge sharing on public sector procurement.
