Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Production Support) to provide high-level operational support for complex cloud-based systems in a remote setting. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL queries and monitoring.
• U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level day-to-day operational support of complex application cloud systems.
• Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
• Document problems and outcomes in logging/discrepancy tools and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Respond to user calls, escalate issues as needed, and maintain system documentation and asset inventory.
• Support maintenance/installation of computing infrastructure and ensure VA security standards.
