Actalent is seeking a Sr Substation Engineer to join the substation department. The role involves leading substations projects, reviewing drawings, and developing standards with minimal direction. You will train junior engineers and coordinate with in-house and client teams, ensuring on-time project delivery.

This permanent, fully remote position is based out of Ohio with possible site visits as needed. A PE license and anElectrical Eng.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• PE license is required.
• Master’s degree counts toward years of experience.

Aufgaben

• Develop project scopes, one-line diagrams, and estimates for substation projects.
• Review substation construction drawings and verify compliance with codes and standards.
• Engineer and design lightning protection, grounding, and equipment replacement for substations.
• Travel to project sites for walk downs and gather information for scope development.
• Lead, facilitate, and coordinate work activities to complete substation projects.
• Provide training and guidance to lower-level engineers.
