Job summary

Progressive Insurance is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting within our Statutory Reporting organization. You will maintain the financial integrity of Progressive’s published reports for multiple insurance entities and establish the overall corporate accounting strategy and vision.

You will lead a team, interfacing with the director and reporting managers to ensure compliance with evolving standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field and 8+ years specialized accounting or financial reporting experience, with at least 4 years leadership experience.
• Experience with statutory reporting across multiple insurance entities.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the financial integrity of the company's published financial reports for multiple insurance entities.
• Establish the overall corporate accounting strategy and vision.
• Serve as a key link between the director of financial reporting and financial reporting managers; oversee complex reporting functions.
• Manage accounting, financial reporting, analysis and guidance efforts.
