StackAdapt is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to lead Data Delivery and analytics infrastructure for an AI-powered advertising platform. You will shape long-term strategy, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and business leaders to drive critical initiatives.

The role emphasizes building scalable backend services, data pipelines, and observability, with a remote-friendly setup across the US and Canada and a strong focus on reliability and data quality.

Qualifications

• Experience shaping technical direction across multiple teams or large platform areas.
• Deep expertise building scalable backend services and distributed data systems.
• Strong judgment in API, pipeline, and data model design with observability.
• Ability to balance correctness, latency, cost, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term technical strategy for Data Delivery and adjacent Stats & Analytics domains.
• Lead cross-team initiatives that align groups on durable, scalable technical solutions.
• Design and evolve systems that support reporting, measurement, forecasting, billing, exports, and analytics capabilities.
• Make high-impact architectural decisions across APIs, data pipelines, data models, distributed systems, storage, and serving layers.
• Partner with product, data science, analytics, and business leaders to translate priorities into technical roadmaps.
• Mentor and coach engineers, including senior engineers, through design reviews and strategic guidance.
