Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer for Security Products to build AI SOC capabilities, focusing on post-detection autonomous reasoning and response orchestration in a fully remote role. You will architect scalable workflows and integrate with Cribl Detect to drive automated investigations and containment.

You will lead the design of low-latency distributed systems, collaborate with product managers and security researchers, and mentor engineers while delivering production-grade AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with 12+ years of production software experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading AI SOC, SOAR, or post-detection automation at scale.
• Experience building production-grade AI systems with LLM orchestration, embeddings, and RAG architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect post-detection workflows including autonomous triage and containment orchestration.
• Build production-grade reasoning systems using LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs.
• Collaborate with Cribl Detect to ingest high-fidelity signals and trigger investigations.
• Explore agentic paradigms and multi-agent frameworks with prototypes.
• Write core abstractions, design protocols, and set benchmarks for accuracy and latency.
• Provide safe execution frameworks with transparent reasoning trails and runbooks.
• Partner with product managers and security researchers to drive strategy.
• Represent Cribl's AI SOC vision through architecture reviews and blogs.
