Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer for the Security Products team to build next‑generation AI SOC capabilities. You will architect post‑detection workflows, autonomous triage, evidence synthesis, and containment orchestration, enabling SOCs to operate at machine speed.

You will build production‑grade AI systems with LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs, ingest signals with Cribl Detect, and define robust API frameworks.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience building scale production software.
• Experience leading AI SOC, SOAR, or post‑detection automation at scale.
• Deep experience building production-grade AI systems using LLM orchestration, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
• Designing scalable, low-latency distributed systems for asynchronous workflows.
• Understanding security analyst workflows and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Robust API frameworks to interface with third-party security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect post-detection workflows including autonomous triage and containment orchestration.
• Build production-grade reasoning systems using LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs.
• Collaborate with Cribl Detect to ingest signals and trigger investigations and responses.
• Explore multi-agent paradigms and validate concepts through prototypes.
• Define core abstractions and agent communication protocols; review critical code.
• Establish benchmarks for model accuracy, latency, and reliability.
• Build safe execution frameworks with transparent reasoning trails and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Partner with product managers and security researchers to translate ideas into executable plans.
• Represent Cribl’s AI SOC vision through architecture reviews and technical blogs.
• Stand-by, on‑call, or off‑hours duties.
