Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape security product experiences across detection, alerting, investigation, triage, and AI-assisted workflows. You will turn complex SOC workflows into clear, trustworthy interfaces and collaborate with Product, Engineering, UX Research, and other designers across the Cribl platform.

The role is remote-first, spanning multiple time zones, with a base salary range of $150,000-$175,000 USD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing complex B2B software or enterprise platforms for technical users.
• Security background in product design, security operations, threat detection or related discipline.
• Understanding of security practitioners’ realities and high-consequence decisions.
• Strong product thinking and interaction-design skills to simplify complex workflows.
• Experience designing AI-assisted, agentic or conversational interactions.
• Expert Figma skills with advanced prototyping and design documentation.
• Experience contributing to design systems and recognizing when to extend patterns.
• Understanding of AI tools and AI UX interaction models while preserving user trust.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering in iterative environments.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and problem-solving abilities.
• A portfolio with case studies showing role, process, decisions and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design from problem framing through prototyping and implementation.
• Design workflows for security detection, alerting, investigation and triage.
• Apply security judgment to evidence, provenance, and permissions.
• Design AI-assisted experiences with clear intent, context, and user approval.
• Contribute to Cribl design system and reusable components.
• Proficiently use Figma for exploration, prototyping, and handoff.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs and designers to ensure feasibility and accessibility.
• Share work early through critiques and working sessions.
• Prioritize opportunities using research and product evidence.
• Communicate design rationale and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical partners.
