Cribl is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to expand our observability platform across a distributed, remote team in the U.S. You will design and operate scalable observability systems, drive reliability, and collaborate with product teams to ship high‑quality software.

You’ll work with Terraform/Ansible, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic to improve production reliability and reduce toil.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating observability systems for complex cloud-based platforms.
• Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Engage with teams to improve service delivery and reliability across the lifecycle.
• Measure and monitor production systems focusing on availability and latency.
• Identify root causes of errors and drive teams toward operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to improve reliability and observability.
• Identify and reduce toil through automation and innovation.
• Be prepared for stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties.
