Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our remote-first team in the U.S. You will design, implement, and operate observability systems for a cloud-based platform, drive reliability improvements, and reduce toil through automation.

Ideal candidates bring deep experience with AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Node.js/TypeScript, and incident response in a distributed environment, while working autonomously with a distributed team within Cribl’s engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating observability systems for complex cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Engage with teams and improve service delivery and reliability.
• Measure and monitor production systems for availability, latency and overall system health.
• Identify cause of errors and drive teams toward better operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product/platform teams to improve reliability, resilience and observability.
• Help identify and drive down toil with automation and innovation.
• This position will require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties.
