Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Sr Solutions & Pricing Specialist based in the United States to shape pricing strategies for complex IT sales opportunities. The role combines technical evaluation, commercial strategy, proposal development, and sales support leadership.

You will partner with sales teams, solution architects, procurement, finance, and distributors to ensure proposals are technically sound, commercially competitive, and profitable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
• 10+ years in IT solutions, systems integration, VAR, or related fields.
• Experience with quotation development, pricing models, BOMs, margins, and rebates.
• Experience supporting complex proposals, bids, and RFP responses.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM and sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing and commercial strategy for IT opportunities, proposals, and RFPs.
• Review quotations for accuracy, pricing, discounts, margins, and terms.
• Evaluate opportunity scope and propose solutions, products, and delivery approaches.
• Establish target pricing, gross margins, and competitive positioning with sales leadership.
• Review BOMs, labor estimates, services, and other costs for profitability.
• Validate technical designs before proposals are submitted to customers.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies across commercial and technical aspects.
• Develop win strategies with sales teams and communicate solution value.
• Coordinate with distributors and manufacturers on pricing, discounts, and escalations.
• Maintain accurate opportunity, quotation, order, and customer records in Salesforce.
