Job summary

Automox is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to join our Customer Experience team. You will blend deep product knowledge with an understanding of customer goals to deliver ongoing value, build lasting relationships, and advocate for customers internally.

You’ll lead onboarding, policy builds, and technical guidance while collaborating with CSMs to maximize outcomes. You will engage with executives and SysAdmins alike, document engagement details, and contribute to knowledge content.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Systems Administration, Desktop Support, Solutions Engineering, or equivalent.
• Expert proficiency in at least one core OS (Windows, macOS, or Linux) including admin, config, troubleshooting and update management.
• Proven production patch management experience, including deployment planning, maintenance windows, reboot coordination, and failed-update troubleshooting.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and cross-team collaboration with support, engineering and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer onboarding, platform implementation, and ongoing performance reviews.
• Assess customer environments and build policies, device groups, and patching workflows.
• Provide technical leadership and platform education during challenging conversations.
• Collaborate with CSMs to improve adoption and outcomes.
• Investigate issues, document findings, and coordinate escalation to Support/Engineering.
