CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead teams building a premier Health100 platform experience. You will shape and execute complex initiatives, guide AI-enabled solutions, and ensure scalable cloud-native delivery across cross-functional groups.

Remote eligibility within the United States, with preference for proximity to Woonsocket, RI. The role emphasizes architecture, governance, and scalable engineering leadership in a healthcare-focused environment.

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years leading engineering teams in Agile, cloud-native environments.
Strong hands-on Java and microservices background.
5+ years of cloud development (GCP preferred) with architecture guidance.
Experience delivering large-scale platforms and AI-powered solutions.
Ability to lead end-to-end software delivery lifecycle from discovery to production.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and architectural leadership for scalable distributed systems, APIs, and AI-enabled platforms.
Mentor and grow high-performing engineers; promote modern development and AI-assisted practices.
Own end-to-end delivery of complex, high-visibility initiatives; drive business outcomes.
Establish KPIs/OKRs; mitigate risks; ensure secure, compliant AI usage.
Collaborate across engineering, product, design, security, analytics, and business teams on emerging technologies.
