Job summary

Cohere Health is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Review Engineering team of 20+ engineers across US and India. You will own reliability, technical direction, and partner with Product, Design, Security, and Clinical Ops to scale our platform.

The role is remote-first with occasional travel to Boston for onboarding and events. You will mentor managers, drive quality and security in HIPAA/SOC2 regulated environments, and help grow the next generation of health-tech leaders.

Qualifications

5+ years managing software teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Experience leading distributed/multi-site teams across time zones.
Proven ability to own production systems and incident response in healthcare (HIPAA/SOC2).
Experience designing and scaling distributed/microservices systems for high-growth products.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.

Responsibilities

Lead 20+ engineers across multiple squads in US and India.
Own production reliability and incident response for Review systems.
Set technical vision and lead sprint processes with Staff Engineers.
Drive delivery transparency with sprint metrics and risk management.
Partner with Product, Design, Security, Clinical Ops and other teams on shared systems.
Own hiring, leveling, and career growth for direct reports and leads.
