Job summary

EnovaPremier LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across IT initiatives and projects in a remote role with up to 25% travel. You will collaborate with Plant and IT teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to architecture decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a technical field and 4–6 years in technical support/development, 3–5 years in software development (Python), project management, and T-SQL. Travel up to 25% and remote work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical major or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years high-level technical support, implementation and development experience.
• 3–5 years experience in software development (Python).
• 3–5 years experience in project management.
• 3–5 years experience in T-SQL development (SQL queries, Stored Procedures, or SQL Views).
• Preferred: MSSQL Database administration and OPC Server experience.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead major software IT initiatives and projects; guide architectural decisions; conduct code reviews; troubleshoot complex issues; stay current with tech trends.
• Development & Engineering: Write clean, maintainable code; optimize performance; participate in full software lifecycle; design scalable data models; integrate systems via data connections, APIs, SAML, LDAP.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work with cross-functional teams; mentor engineers; participate in agile planning; communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Soft Skills: Maintain professionalism under pressure; strong problem solving; independent and team work; clear communication; coordinate with vendors for performance and availability.
• Miscellaneous: Learn systems; manage own projects; support IT software interfacing with the physical process; hotline rotation for 24-7 support.
