Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join our Mission Critical Team. This remote role requires about 25% travel and focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining industrial control systems for data center environments.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 3+ years in industrial controls, and hands-on Rockwell PLC experience. Strong instrumentation and network knowledge are a plus, with a collaborative mindset and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with industrial control system applications.
• Experience working in industrial HVAC / BMS / EPMS applications for data center environments.
• Experience working with process instrumentation (Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Level) and calibration/loop checks.
• Rockwell PLC programming experience; capable of developing from scratch and working independently.
• Basic understanding of control system network topologies.
• Willingness to travel 30% (periodic travel to remote project sites).
• Collaborative, team-oriented professional.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team member supporting the execution of project work from design through implementation.
• Develop/modify design documentation – drawing packages, method of procedures, sequence of operations, testing scripts.
• Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC and HMI programs.
• Provide onsite support commissioning system design changes.
