Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking an Engineering Manager I to lead a team of engineers across multiple projects, delivering control system design, PLC/HMI programming, and project leadership. This is a remote role with up to 30% travel, focused on the Life Sciences and Manufacturing sectors.

You will guide staffing, manage utilization, perform evaluations, and work with Sales and Program leadership to grow the practice while maintaining high engineering standards and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years in industrial automation/controls integration.
• 3+ years leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance, leadership, and quality control for engineers across projects.
• Design control system networks and panels; develop PLC/HMI code.
• Lead project milestones, audits, and customer-facing activities.
