Preferred Risk Insurance seeks a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services. You will act as a technical leader, mentor peers, and drive quality, security, and maintainability across domains.

You will effectively leverage AI-assisted development tools while retaining full responsibility for technical decisions, code quality, and production readiness in a collaborative, Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET and React.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Solid understanding of OOP and design patterns.
• Experience in Agile environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and services.
• Own technical implementation of features within an application or domain.
• Translate requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Participate in design discussions and document decisions.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and testing.
• Review AI-generated code for quality, security, and standards.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and regression testing.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
