Job summary

ServiceTrade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Accounting Integrations to lead scalable integration work linking our platform with external accounting ecosystems. You will design and maintain robust REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven AWS serverless workflows at scale.

You will mentor engineers, improve performance and reliability, and work across a mix of modern and legacy codebases, with a focus on high-volume data integration for thousands of contractors.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience designing robust REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven workflows.
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of scalable accounting integration codebases.
• Diagnose and resolve critical issues to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software engineering.
