Job summary

ServiceTrade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Accounting Integrations to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable integrations with external accounting platforms. You will build robust REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven AWS workflows, while mentoring peers and driving performance across high-volume systems.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and seamless customer experience, enabling thousands of contractors to operate

Qualifications

• Lead the development and maintenance of scalable integration architectures.
• Design robust REST APIs and webhooks for external systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software engineering.
• Develop and maintain event-driven AWS serverless workflows (Lambda, SQS, Step Functions).
• Focus on performance, scalability, and reliability of integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of scalable codebase for complex accounting integrations and other products as necessary.
• Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve critical issues, implementing preventative measures to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with and mentor junior engineers, fostering best practices in advanced software engineering principles and techniques.
• Establish comprehensive documentation for code, and processes to enable seamless team collaboration and knowledge transfer.
• Manage daily workload effectively between many priorities.
