Job summary

ServiceTrade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Accounting Integrations to own scalable integration architectures linking our platform with external accounting systems. You will design REST APIs, webhooks, and AWS serverless workflows, while mentoring teammates and driving reliability.

You will work with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and data-focused backend systems, with opportunities to shape high-volume, event-driven services used by thousands of commercial contractors.

Qualifications

• Lead integration projects within a SaaS platform to connect and synchronize data.
• Solid experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures and AWS serverless workflows.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js for scalable back-end services.
• Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB; CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of scalable accounting integration architectures.
• Design robust REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven workflows in AWS (Lambda, SQS, Step Functions).
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and quality across integrations.
