Job summary

ServiceTrade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Accounting Integrations to lead the development of scalable integration architectures using JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js. You will design REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven AWS serverless workflows to sync data with external accounting platforms.

You will mentor junior engineers, diagnose complex issues, and apply AI-assisted development tools to ensure performance, reliability, and accuracy across our integrations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience designing robust REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven workflows.
• Familiarity with Python for data-focused backend systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of scalable integration architectures using JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Design robust REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven AWS serverless workflows (Lambda, SQS, Step Functions).
• Diagnose and resolve complex system issues; mentor junior engineers; leverage AI-assisted tools to improve delivery.
• Take ownership of high-volume, event-driven serverless integrations bridging our platform with external accounting ecosystems.
