Syneos Health is seeking a Senior Site Contracts Manager to lead budgeting, negotiation and management of US site contracts for sponsor-dedicated Pharma & Vaccine studies. You will partner with internal teams and major academic institutions to craft robust contracts that support timelines and risk management.

This role requires a proven track record in contract negotiation, budgeting, and cross-functional leadership, with oncology experience being highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building budgets and contracts from templates.
• Direct experience negotiating with large academic institutions.
• Ability to juggle priorities, lead projects, and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Strong understanding of clinical study protocols, timelines, and site milestones (e.g., SIV).
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Build US site budget templates and study-specific budget language for Pharma & Vaccine clinical trials.
• Develop and refine templates to support consistency, compliance, and strategic study needs.
• Lead direct negotiations with large academic institutions and other critical stakeholders.
• Draft and finalize clinical trial agreements that balance business objectives with legal and operational protections.
• Conduct due diligence checks—FMV assessments and site justification reviews—when initial offers are declined.
• Prioritize and lead multiple contracting projects across several therapeutic areas (oncology experience preferred).
• Demonstrate expert proficiency in Excel and clinical trial management systems.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external partners and contribute to process improvements.
