Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Site Activation Manager to lead study start-up and site activation across therapeutic areas. You will partner with sponsors, investigators, and cross-functional teams to drive timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with ICH GCP and regulatory requirements.

The role is remote with global collaboration, requiring 7+ years in CRO/pharma Start-up, strong leadership, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a medical/biological/physical/health/pharmacy or related science field, or two-year degree plus four years of clinical research experience.
• Seven+ years of CRO/pharmaceutical industry experience, in Start-up/Project/Site Management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Thorough understanding of site activation processes, clinical project planning and execution, and regulatory requirements.
• Solid knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines, FDA/EU directives, and national regulations.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder-management across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee study start-up and site activation activities as the primary accountable owner.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to meet critical site activation milestones and budget.
• Manage and analyze site activation metrics, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Partner with project teams to accelerate site qualification, selection, regulatory, and essential document collection activities.
• Communicate project status, timelines, risks, and outcomes to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Ensure activation activities are tracked, budgeted, and aligned with change management processes.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets, bid defenses, and business development related to site activation.
• Coach and mentor Managers; support SOP development and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ICH GCP, regulations, and SOPs across activation lifecycle.
