Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials seeks a Senior Site Activation Manager to lead study start-up and site activation activities across therapeutic areas. You will collaborate with sponsors, investigators, and cross-functional teams to drive timelines, budgets, and regulatory readiness.

This remote role enables collaboration with global teams across time zones and offers opportunities to mentor teams, contribute to SOP improvements, and support business development while upholding ICH GCP and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with clinical research experience (7+ years CRO/pharma Start-up/Project/Site Management preferred).
• Strong leadership and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of ICH GCP, FDA/EU directives, and regulatory requirements across regions.
• Ability to make independent decisions, solve complex problems and manage risk in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills in global teams.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead study start-up and site activation activities as primary accountable; oversee timelines.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to meet milestones and budgets.
• Manage and analyze site activation metrics; identify risks and implement mitigations.
• Partner with project teams to accelerate site qualification, regulatory documents, and essential ICH/GCP activities.
• Communicate project status, timelines, risks, and outcomes to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Ensure activities are tracked, budgeted, and aligned with change management processes.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets, bid defenses, and business development efforts.
• Coach and mentor Site Activation Managers; develop SOPs and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ICH GCP and applicable regulations throughout lifecycle.
