Worldwide Clinical Trials seeks a Senior Site Activation Manager II to lead start-up and activation of clinical sites across complex trials. You will oversee deliverables, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration to keep milestones on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical, medical biology, physical, health, pharmacy, or related scientific field (or equivalent).
• Minimum seven years in CRO or pharmaceutical industry, start-up/project/site management or related clinical research functions.
• Strong leadership, project management, planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of clinical trial start-up, site activation, project execution, and planning.
• Knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and FDA/EU/national regulations.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication across global teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English; proficient with MS Office and digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead study start-up and site activation across assigned projects.
• Be primary contact for site activation deliverables, timelines, and performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet critical-path activities on time and within budget.
• Monitor site identification, qualification, document collection, regulatory submissions, and contracts.
• Assess risks, develop mitigations, and escalate issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track activation metrics, milestones, and status for sponsors and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain site activation plans with project teams and budgets.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets, bid defenses, and business development.
• Coach and mentor Site Activation Managers and support SOP improvements.
