Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Site Activation Manager II to lead start-up and activation of clinical research sites across complex studies. This remote role supports sponsors, project teams, regulatory stakeholders, and sites to ensure timely, compliant study startup.

You will mentor peers, drive process improvements, manage risks, and oversee budgets and timelines. A minimum seven years CRO/pharma experience and strong cross-functional leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical/biomedical/related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum seven years of CRO/pharma experience in start-up or project management.
• Strong leadership, planning, and cross-cultural communication.
• Knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and FDA/EU regulations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead study start-up and site activation activities across projects.
• Own site activation deliverables, timelines, and performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet critical path on time and budget.
• Monitor site identification, regulatory submissions, and document collection.
• Develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track activation metrics and report status to sponsors.
• Develop site activation plans with budgets reflecting study needs.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets, bid defense, and business development.
• Mentor Site Activation Managers and drive SOP improvements.
