Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Site Activation Manager II for a remote role open to candidates in the United States. You will lead start-up and activation of clinical sites, coordinating sponsors, sites, and cross-functional teams to keep milestones on track.

The role requires at least seven years in CRO/pharma, strong leadership and regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication in English. A competitive benefits package is provided based on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field or equivalent.
• Minimum seven years in CRO/pharma start-up/project/site management.
• Strong leadership, planning, and cross-functional coordination.
• Knowledge of ICH GCP and FDA/EU regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead study start-up and site activation activities across assigned projects.
• Serve as primary contact for activation deliverables, timelines and performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure critical path activities meet deadlines and budgets.
• Monitor site identification, qualification, regulatory submissions and contract progression.
• Assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues to support delivery.
• Track activation metrics and report project status to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain activation plans with study scope and budgets.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets and business development activities.
• Coach and mentor Site Activation Managers and support SOP improvements.
