Job summary

Sotalent is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead multiple cross-functional Agile delivery teams in a fully remote role across the United States. You will coach teams in Scrum, Kanban and Lean, help remove impediments, and partner with Product Owners to align backlog with business goals.

The role emphasizes servant leadership, continuous improvement, and scaled delivery using SAFe or Scrum@Scale frameworks. Strong facilitation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working within Scrum teams.
• 5+ years applying Lean principles and continuous improvement.
• 1+ year in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe or Scrum@Scale).
• Strong communication, facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Advanced Agile certification from Scrum Alliance, Scrum Inc., Scrum.org or ICAgile preferred.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor multiple teams in Lean, Agile, Scrum and Kanban.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and Agile events.
• Identify and remove delivery impediments and escalate blockers.
• Partner with Product Owners to align vision, priorities and backlog.
• Establish and improve definitions of ready/done and delivery practices.
• Promote continuous improvement and Kaizen mindset.
• Support change management initiatives (ADKAR).
• Coordinate cross-team planning and scaled Agile events.
• Empower teams and leaders to improve performance.
