Job summary

Affirm seeks a senior Salesforce architect to lead end-to-end integration strategy and governance across CPQ, CLM, and related Revenue systems. You will design scalable solutions, mentor engineers, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive business value.

The role emphasizes architecture leadership, security, and performance, with a focus on adopting Salesforce capabilities, AI tools, and modern DevOps practices in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent four-year degree.
• Expert-level Salesforce in large enterprise environments (5+ years).
• 4+ years Apex, LWC, and Salesforce Flow experience.
• 2+ years building integrations with Workato or similar iPaaS tools.
• Proficient with Salesforce DevOps tooling (Gearset, DX) and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with Agentforce and Einstein AI capabilities for Revenue workflows.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; translate tech updates for leaders.
• Core Pardot experience; Salesforce CPQ expertise (5+ years).
• Experience with Ironclad CLM or similar CLM tools; CLM certs preferred.
• AI-assisted productivity and workflow improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and review technical designs for custom development, integrations, and migrations.
• Evaluate Salesforce capabilities and propose adoption paths with measurable value.
• Design, build, and govern Salesforce integrations using Workato; manage end-to-end initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Operations to gather and align requirements.
• Mentor Salesforce engineers with architecture guidance and design reviews.
• Set strategic direction for Salesforce, Ironclad, and adjacent Revenue systems.
• Own end-to-end architecture and governance of CPQ and cross-system lifecycle strategy.
