Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to lead end‑to‑end design and governance of CPQ, CLM, and adjacent Revenue systems. You will mentor engineers, define architecture, and partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes security, reliability, and data quality while leveraging Salesforce Flow, Einstein AI, and iPaaS tools to drive measurable business value. Remote-first with optional office work in the US.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Salesforce.com (5+ years in complex enterprise orgs).
• 4+ years of experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Flow.
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining integrations with Workato or comparable iPaaS tools; recipe design, error handling, and documentation.
• Proficiency with Salesforce DevOps tooling, including Gearset or comparable CI/CD platforms and Salesforce DX / Git‑based source control workflows.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Agentforce and Einstein AI capabilities and how they apply to Revenue workflows.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate complex technical work for business stakeholders.
• Ability to build trust across Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Revenue teams.
• Core Pardot experience; Salesforce CPQ expertise.
• 2+ years configuring Ironclad or CLM tools; CLM Core Administration badge or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define and review technical designs for custom development, integrations, and data migrations.
• Evaluate Salesforce capabilities and recommend adoption paths delivering business value.
• Design, build, and govern integrations between Salesforce and adjacent systems using Workato.
• Collaborate with XFN teams to gather requirements and communicate across audiences.
• Mentor Salesforce engineers, provide architecture guidance, and support long-term growth.
• Set strategic direction for optimization of Salesforce, Ironclad, and adjacent Revenue systems.
• Own end‑to‑end architecture and governance of CPQ solutions and CLM alignment.
