Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect on the Revenue team to lead end-to-end design and governance of CPQ, CLM, and integrations across Salesforce, Ironclad, and adjacent systems.

You will partner with Engineering, Sales, Legal, Finance to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, while mentoring engineers and guiding strategic direction.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Expert-level Salesforce.com proficiency (5+ years in complex enterprise orgs).
• 4+ years developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Flow.
• 2+ years building integrations with Workato or similar iPaaS
• Proficiency with Salesforce DevOps tooling (Gearset, DX, Git)
• Familiarity with Salesforce Agentforce and Einstein AI for Revenue workflows
• Excellent written and verbal communication with business stakeholders
• Ability to build trust across Engineering, Finance, Legal, Revenue teams
• Core Pardot experience
• Salesforce CPQ expert (5+ years)
• 2+ years configuring Ironclad CLM; Ironclad CLM Core Admin badge or equivalent certification
• Salesforce certifications: Advanced Admin, Platform Developer I/II and/or CPQ Specialist
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity

Responsibilities

• Define and review technical designs for custom dev, integrations, and data migrations with security, performance, and maintainability in mind.
• Evaluate Salesforce capabilities (Flow, Agentforce, Einstein AI) and recommend adoption paths delivering business value.
• Design, build, and govern integrations between Salesforce and adjacent systems using Workato and drive multi-quarter initiatives end-to-end.
• Partner with Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Operations to gather requirements and communicate across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor and develop Salesforce engineers, providing architecture guidance and documentation.
• Set the strategic direction for the optimization and evolution of Salesforce, Ironclad, and adjacent Revenue systems to scale.
• Own end-to-end architecture and governance of CPQ, CLM, and cross-system data models with pricing and reporting standards.
