Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist for Materials Characterization in a FIELD REMOTE role covering IL, WI and KY. You will drive volume sales, expand markets, manage key accounts, and present our Molecular Spectroscopy and Thermal Analysis solutions to customers in industrial, pharma and healthcare sectors.

You'll travel up to 60% in the territory, partner with regional teams, and leverage CRM (Salesforce) to forecast and close opportunities while building lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Materials Science, Chemistry or related field.
• Proven track record in consultative capital equipment sales.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales volume and market share in IL, WI and KY.
• Account management of current customer base and identification of new accounts.
• Present PerkinElmer capabilities and provide technical solutions to customers.
• Collaborate with regional sales, service teams and product specialists.
• Maintain CRM data, forecast opportunities and manage the sales funnel.
