PerkinElmer is seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Specialist for Materials Characterization to grow the portfolio across IL, WI and KY. This field remote role requires technical knowledge, consultative sales skills, and the ability to manage accounts and develop territory plans.

You will travel up to 60% of the time, engage with scientific customers, and collaborate with product, service, and sales teams to maximize growth in the region.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate with 5-8 years' experience in Materials Science or related field.
• Graduate degree with 3-5 years' experience in Materials Science, Chemistry or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.
• Residence within the assigned territory, preferably in Chicago metro region.

Responsabilités

• Grow sales volume and market share for Materials Characterization products across IL, WI and KY.
• Account management of current customers and development of new targeted accounts.
• Develop and implement territory plans and product line strategies to meet company goals.
• Maintain accurate CRM data, update opportunity funnel and weekly forecasts.
• Collaborate with regional sales, service teams and product specialists to maximize customer satisfaction.
