Job summary
PerkinElmer in the United States is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist for Materials Characterization to grow volume sales and market share in IL, WI and KY. This field-remote role requires technically skilled professionals with materials science or chemistry background and strong capital equipment sales experience.
You will develop business plans, manage key accounts, and collaborate with regional sales, service, and product teams to meet growth targets.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate with 5-8 years experience or graduate degree with 3-5 years in materials science or chemistry.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% within IL, WI and KY territory.
- Must reside within the assigned territory, preferably in Chicago metro region.
Responsibilities
- Grow Sales Volume by executing a sales plan aligned with regional objectives.
- Develop and implement business plans to represent product lines fairly and achieve margins.
- Cultivate partnerships, provide consultative solutions, and maintain CRM records.
- Work with regional sales, service, and product teams to ensure customer service excellence.
