Job summary

Camunda, a remote-first global company, seeks a Sales Engineer to demonstrate Camunda’s value to organizations planning to automate core business processes. You will accompany prospects in product evaluation, answer technical questions, and coordinate presales interactions to drive a win.

You will partner with Account Executives and Solution Architects, leading proof-of-concepts and technical discussions, qualifying opportunities, and executing a sales strategy for successful deals.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field—and equivalent practical experience.
• Solid understanding of programming fundamentals, modern software engineering practices, and IT/system architectures.
• Experience in Sales Engineering or Pre-Sales with value-based selling and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, able to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English and German (C1/C2 level or native); Hebrew is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Map customer requirements to Camunda product portfolio.
• Position the quantitative and qualitative business value of Camunda.
• Develop evaluation plans and demos for prospects.
• Conduct product demos and product-related Q&A sessions.
• Support completion of RFI/RFP documents.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to develop accounts.
• Organize and execute pre-sales engagements.
• Implement code snippets.
• Create and maintain pre-sales content and technical artifacts.
