Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Analyst, Revenue Cycle to drive operational efficiency by analyzing claims, accounts, and internal data to deliver actionable insights for reimbursement optimization. You will translate findings into dashboards and reports for Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Operations teams.

The role requires 4+ years in healthcare revenue cycle analytics, proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau or Power BI, and experience with Epic.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle analytics or reimbursement strategy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
Experience with electronic health record systems (Epic)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business/healthcare analytics
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for presenting findings

Responsibilities

Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities across the revenue cycle continuum
Compile large datasets into meaningful insights to drive decision‑making
Perform root cause analyses on reimbursement delays, denials, and related issues
Translate analytical findings into dashboards and reports for Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Operations
Collaborate with internal partners to streamline workflows and resolve issues
Develop and maintain SOPs for account resolution, escalation, and analytics best practices
Design performance dashboards and scorecards for KPIs
