Job summary

OpenTable is seeking a Sr. Analyst to support Sales, Services, and Analytics functions in the United States, with a data-driven mindset and strong SQL, Snowflake, and Salesforce experience.

You will work cross-functionally with leadership, sales, marketing, and finance to deliver insights and recommendations that influence strategic decisions. The role requires excellent communication, project management, and data analysis skills, with the ability to operate in ambiguity and across time zones.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in an analytics, operations, or strategy role.
• Experience with Snowflake or any other relational database.
• Strong SQL coding skills + experience with design and development of ETL processes.
• Advanced Excel skills required, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP; Google Sheets acceptable.
• Knowledge in Salesforce, Preset/Superset, Snowflake.
• Operational experience in measuring and improving efficiency, utilization, scale initiatives, etc.
• High energy and enthusiasm; capable of leading peers on tough projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to detail business processes and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform sophisticated analytics to support global Sales, Services, and Marketing decisions.
• Prepare and present analyses and narratives for audiences from field sales to senior leadership.
• Translate data into insights, dashboards, and reports for cross-functional teams.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with sales leaders and drive initiatives across business segments.
• Manage inbound ad hoc analyses requests from the RSS team; support process and system improvements.
• Collaborate with Salesforce and BI teams to implement data optimizations.
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards for various scenarios.
• Support SFDC data stewardship; create and maintain dashboards and end-user documentation.
