Zusammenfassung

1st Avenue Power is seeking a Sr. Transactions Counsel to guide complex regulatory and contractual matters across renewable energy projects. You will draft, negotiate, and shepherd supplier and EPC contracts, SaaS and NDAs, balancing risk with speed and business goals.

You will work with the Executive Team, Operations, and Finance to ensure risk is managed while enabling rapid execution. Must be licensed in at least one U.S.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a J.D. from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (preferably California).
• 5+ years of legal experience, with at least 3 years in-house in renewables/clean tech.
• Experience drafting and negotiating supplier agreements and related contracts (SaaS, NDAs, EPC, supply agreements).
• Ability to advise on interpretation of documents orally and in writing.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts in the renewables space (supplier, EPC, PV, BESS, power electronics, services, consulting, SaaS, NDAs).
• Collaborate with Executive Team, Operations, and Finance to assess and manage legal risk.
• Monitor energy regulations and help develop compliant policies and procedures.
• Develop scalable legal processes, playbooks, templates, and risk review frameworks.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and internal stakeholders; manage multiple projects.
