Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Senior Real Estate Analyst to join our investment team. This role focuses on in-depth financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence for diverse real estate opportunities across commercial and residential sectors.

The ideal candidate has a master's degree and 5+ years in real estate investment analysis, with expert financial modeling, ARGUS proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of real estate investment analysis, valuation, or similar.
• Expert in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel; ARGUS experience essential.
• Strong understanding of real estate markets, investment structures, and capital markets.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling for potential real estate acquisitions, developments, and portfolio strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to support valuation and investment decisions.
• Execute property valuations using various methodologies (e.g., DCF, sales comparison, income capitalization).
• Perform thorough due diligence, including reviewing financial statements, leases, property operations, and legal documentation.
• Prepare detailed investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for senior management and investment committees.
• Monitor the performance of existing portfolio assets, providing analytical support for asset management.
• Assist in structuring transactions and negotiating key investment terms.
• Stay abreast of market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes impacting real estate investments.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams (acquisitions, development, asset management) and external parties (brokers, lenders, appraisers) in a remote capacity.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts on financial analysis and valuation techniques.
