Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Investment Strategist to join a fully remote investment team. You will formulate and execute sophisticated investment strategies across asset classes, driving returns for clients while collaborating with portfolio managers and researchers.

The role requires strong macroeconomic research, quantitative skills, and excellent communication to present ideas clearly in a remote, globally distributed environment. CFA designation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in investment strategy, portfolio management, or macroeconomic research.
• Demonstrated expertise in asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management.
• Strong understanding of global financial markets, including fixed income, equities, currencies, and commodities.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Python, R).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas persuasively.
• Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
• Relevant professional designations (e.g., CFA) are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and articulate comprehensive investment strategies across various asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternatives).
• Conduct in-depth macroeconomic and geopolitical analysis to inform investment decisions.
• Monitor global markets, identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers to implement and refine investment strategies.
• Produce insightful market commentary, research reports, and client presentations.
• Contribute to asset allocation decisions and portfolio construction frameworks.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and research providers.
• Mentor junior strategists and analysts within the remote team.
• Utilize advanced analytical tools and financial databases to support research and decision-making.
