Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Full Stack Developer (Edifecs) for a Veterans Affairs project. This 100% remote, full-time position requires extensive testing experience and deep Edifecs knowledge.

Ideal candidates have a track record on complex software projects, familiarity with SDLC and Agile, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Proven track record on complex software projects and high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum and SDLC.
• Proficiency in writing/executing test cases, scripts, and plans.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Version control experience (Git, SVN).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Experience with EDIFECS testing.
• Understanding of security testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures.
• Develop test plans, schedules, and approaches.
• Write test cases and scripts and identify data for test scenarios.
• Conduct walkthroughs with Test Managers and leads.
• Perform tests of software/IT systems for defects.
• Document and communicate test results.
• Support analysis of test results and issue resolution.
• Report progress on problem resolution to management.
• Create daily test metrics and reporting.
• Perform other IT system engineering activities as needed.
