Henkels & McCoy West is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to lead the design, planning, and execution of proposals for projects within the West Region, reporting to the Project and Business Development teams.

You will define RFP requirements, manage the proposal lifecycle from RFP to Award to Project handoff, and mentor a team of writers and bid professionals to deliver compliant, compelling proposals on schedule.

Competenze

Bachelor-level education in journalism, communications, English, or similar, and/or a technical writing certificate.
7–10 years of relevant experience; 5+ years of leadership in mentoring & developing a team of technical writers.
Proven excellence in technical writing and organization.
Experience as a proposal coordinator or technical writer in the AEC industry, preferably with EPC or design-build.
Strong MS Office skills and ability to manage large information sets.

Mansioni

Lead the design, planning, and execution of proposals and Statements of Work for projects within the West Region.
Ensure compliance with company Project Management Methodology and safety/quality protocols.
Manage bid, pricing, and proposal strategies; oversee proposal life cycle from RFP to Award to Project handoff.
Supervise a medium-to-large team of proposal staff and writers; ensure on-time delivery and client satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders and provide guidance to junior staff.
Apply branding and style guidelines; maintain one voice across documents.
