Job summary

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering and technology, seeks a Senior Proposal Manager to lead complex federal proposals for the Intelligence & Cyber unit. This role is US-Remote-Telework, requiring US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

You will oversee the end-to-end proposal development, coordinating cross-functional teams, schedules, and compliance, while mentoring junior staff and driving win-rate improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record managing large-scale federal proposals.
• In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and travel up to 10%.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal development process from kickoff to final delivery.
• Collaborate with capture managers, SMEs, pricing, and compliance teams.
• Develop schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and mock-ups.
• Ensure proposals meet RFP requirements and submission guidelines.
• Oversee Pink Team and Red Team reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Mentor junior proposal staff and participate in strategic planning.
• Stay current with industry best practices and pursue new opportunities.
