Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking a PMO Manager to lead diverse health research projects. The role includes remote work options and overnight travel, with compensation reflecting experience across various contracts and funding sources.

You will oversee project planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with project directors and funders. A PMP or equivalent certification plus strong Microsoft Office and project management software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years progressively responsible project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience managing large teams and multiple contracts for research projects.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Experience managing government grants and contracts for research.
• Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with project management software and Earned Value Management (EVM).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project work plans and task-based resource estimates.
• Review and re-estimate work plans and resources based on contingencies and budgets, updating forecasts quarterly.
• Provide monthly reporting on financial and operational performance.
• Serve as liaison to client or funder leadership (project officers, program officers).
• Deliver required progress and budget reports to stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship to Project Coordinator(s) and Project Associate(s).
• Lead development of project management standards and tools through PMO leadership.
