Job summary

Momentum is seeking a Freelance Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects and mentor junior PMs. You will oversee budgets, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across print, digital and live events.

Require 5+ years in project management within an agency setting, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Proficient with MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat Pro and PM workflow tools.
• Ability to lead interdepartmental teams and mentor direct reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale, complex projects, leading interdisciplinary teams toward completion.
• Create and manage detailed project plans; lead kickoff meetings and define scope, timing and resources.
• Assess resource needs and adjust allocations across the system of work.
• Resolve resource conflicts and coordinate flex staffing when needed.
• Ensure accurate project documentation and adherence to agency processes.
• Track costs, time reporting, fees, and project variances; report risks and mitigations.
• Mentor junior PMs and uphold Momentum core values across teams.
