Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Owner to articulate product vision and manage the backlog within an Agile delivery framework. You will collaborate with stakeholders and the delivery team to ensure the right features are built in the right order, on schedule, and within budget.

This remote role reports to the Director Project Management and requires 3+ years of relevant experience, SAFe certification, and U.S. citizenship for a DoD contract with NBIS clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of technical experience, product ownership, or project management.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, Agile Release Trains).
• Experience supporting digital tools, customer service platforms, or associate-facing technology solutions.
• Ability to balance strategic roadmap priorities with tactical delivery needs and risks.
• Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/ Product Manager.
• U.S. citizenship for DoD contract and eligibility for NBIS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Convey product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing backlog.
• Maximize value of product created by the Agile team.
• Liaise with stakeholders and the development team to ensure correct product prioritization within budget and deadlines.
• Serve as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making.
