Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Sr. Principal Contract Negotiation Analyst to join our client’s team in the Aerospace & Defense space. This remote role leads complex commercial negotiations, shapes contract terms, and protects company interests while improving templates and processes.

You will partner with Legal Counsel and stakeholders, assess risk, and mentor colleagues in negotiation strategies. U.S. citizenship is required and the role offers comprehensive benefits with a strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in law, supply chain, contracts or commercial negotiations or JD with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Proven ability to lead high-complexity negotiations and assess contractual risks.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review, drafting, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements.
• Develop and execute negotiation strategies while assessing contractual risks.
• Advise stakeholders on contractual rights and obligations, coordinating with Legal Counsel.
• Serve as a resource for complex contractual issues, exercising independent judgment.
• Collaborate with Legal Counsel on emerging contractual issues, including AI-related provisions.
• Contribute to the development of contract templates and negotiation processes.
• Mentor less experienced team members on negotiation strategies and risk assessment.
