Job summary

Henpen Corporation is seeking a Senior Principal Contract Specialist to lead high-stakes negotiations and shape contracting strategy from Redlands, California. The role centers on guiding complex service agreements through negotiation, execution, and closeout.

You will advise senior leadership on contract structure, pricing, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance (FAR/DFARS), mentor contract professionals, and drive process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience managing and negotiating complex contracts.
• Proven success structuring, negotiating, and administering diverse agreements.
• Deep understanding of contract law, risk management, and procurement best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, legal studies, political science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle for complex services agreements from RFP through closeout.
• Advise senior leadership on contract strategy, deal structure, pricing, and risk.
• Negotiate and resolve complex contractual issues with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior and mid-level contract professionals.
• Drive improvements in contract management processes and standards.
• Oversee diverse portfolio including federal and international agreements.
• Apply expertise in federal contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS) as applicable.
