Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Principal Analyst - Senior Pricer to lead and oversee pricing aspects of Federal proposals with DoD experience. This remote role reports to the Senior Director of Federal Pricing and collaborates closely with the Proposal Response Team.

The candidate will perform cost analyses, develop winning price strategies, and guide pricing inputs across divisions while ensuring compliance with FAR/CAS and procurement requirements. Strong communication with executives is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Accounting or Financial Management, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Price to Win, Pricing, or financial proposal experience in competitive procurements.
• Solid understanding of State and Local government pricing market and procurement tendencies.
• Strong communication and ability to present to senior management.
• Knowledge of forecasting methods for competitive behavior.

Responsibilities

• Read RFPs and prepare pricing clarifications.
• Consolidate pricing inputs from various divisions.
• Perform cost analysis and cost estimates for complex proposals.
• Identify financial risks and run what-if analyses with mitigation strategies.
• Lead Pricing Strategy discussions with the price-to-win team.
• Present pricing highlights and risks to the executive team.
• Assemble inputs for standard Federal Price/Business Volume documentation.
• Potentially manage and supervise staff in pricing and proposal teams.
